Unite with me in the cancer fight and support my fundraising efforts
The Lance Armstrong Foundation unites people to fight cancer, believing that unity is strength, knowledge is power, and attitude is everything.
Through the dollars and awareness that we raise, we can inspire and empower individuals, and we can make life better for the millions of people across the globe fighting cancer today.
Please support me as I make a difference in the cancer fight through my participation in the LIVESTRONG Challenge. My partner, Mike, and I will be riding in Austin in October as part of Team Fatty.
Elden Nelson (www.fatcyclist.com) recently lost his wife, Susan, after a five year battle to win. He reminds us all to "fight with focus, creativity, incredible endurance, and kindness. To fight like Susan." I have lost my mother, both grandmothers, and all my aunts to cancer. Cancer has been a dark shadow all of my life. I have said for a long time that 100 years from now Lance will be remembered more for what he did in the fight against cancer than for what he did on the stages of the Tour de France.
Mike and I are proud members of the Toledo Area Bicyclists (TAB) club and Team Toledo Triathlon Club. Thank you!
