2008 has been a tough year. On March 1st, my dad lost the battle against cancer. Together, we can make 2009 the brighter future we've hoped for.

The Lance Armstrong Foundation unites people to fight cancer, believing that unity is strength, knowledge is power, and attitude is everything.

Through the dollars and awareness that we raise, we can inspire and empower individuals, and we can make life better for the millions of people across the globe fighting cancer today.

I hope I'll see you at the finish line in October when I join my teammates in the LIVESTRONG Challenge ride. Until then, remember that your dollars are directly benefiting those fighting cancer and their families.
