Hope Rides Again.

This was the mantra ever since Lance Armstrong announced that he was making a return to professional bike racing. Like me, I'm sure that you watched on TV as he placed third in this year's exciting edition of the Tour de France. In his return to pro cycling, Lance's goal was to spread the message of Livestrong and cancer awareness. In every town on the race route, words of hope and encouragement were scrawled on the road in yellow chalk. It was an amazing sight to see.

Since 2001, just after the death of my mother from breast cancer, I have been fundraising for the Lance Armstrong Foundation and have raised over $125,000.

For 2009 my personal fundraising goal is $15,000 and I'm asking you to help me reach that goal. This year I will personally match every dollar that is donated to my account. AND...any donation over $50 will get your name into a drawing for an official Livestrong Flip Mino Video camcorder (MSRP $179) on October 19th. Pretty cool, right?

Through the dollars and awareness that I raise, we can empower individuals and we can make life better for the millions of people across the globe fighting cancer today. The Lance Armstrong Foundation unites people to fight cancer, believing that unity is strength, knowledge is power, and attitude is everything.
